Unmask the Doppelgangers in This Horror Apartment Sim
Uncover the Mystery Behind Doppelpartment
Doppelpartment is a simulation-based, investigative role-playing game with a horror theme. You take on the role of an elderly manager in a small apartment complex, handling building maintenance, rent collection, and tenant needs. However, when a soldier arrives with the terrible news that some of your tenants are no longer human, things start to get strange. Over a week, you will need to monitor behavior, handle situations, and make informed decisions to determine the real cause of the unsettling changes. Expect eerie pixel graphics, complex dialogue, and storylines that lead to three final ranks and four different endings based on your choices.
How the Game Works
Your primary goal is to identify and report doppelgangers before they take over. Throughout the game, you'll balance investigation and simulation:
- Interact with tenants: Talk to them every day, keep an eye out for patterns, and identify odd behavior.
- Observe the structure: Attend to regular cleaning, maintenance, and toilet inspections (yes, there is a toilet system in place).
- Monitor mutations: Look for signs of body horror and progressive changes, some subtle, some grotesque.
- Make choices: Dialogue options matter, and some may lead to romance, mistrust, or even death.
- Choose who to report to: The conclusion is shaped by your choices.
