What is Third Party?

Third Party is a top-down stealth game that puts you in the role of a spy, sent to infiltrate an underground, top-secret facility controlled by a rivaling government. However, your mission becomes infinitely more dangerous due to the presence of an alien outbreak within the facility. As you descend deeper into the heart of this hazardous environment, every step is a life-or-death decision. The enemies—both human guards and mutated creatures—are relentless, and one wrong move means certain death.

Inspired by the classic film Weekend at Bernie’s, Third Party introduces a unique gameplay mechanic: using the fallen corpses of your enemies as disguises to sneak past enemy patrols. Corpses are key to survival since enemies shoot on sight anything that moves unless it matches their color. This clever, darkly comedic twist adds both tension and strategy to your espionage mission, where stealth and deception are crucial.

How to Play Third Party

 - Movement and Exploration:

• Use the WASD keys to navigate through the tight, enemy-filled corridors of the facility.
• Your goal is to steal crucial data while surviving the enemies, which range from armed guards to deadly aliens.

 - One-Hit Death Mechanic:

• In Third Party, you die in one hit, whether by bullets or alien attacks. This makes every step incredibly dangerous, requiring you to carefully strategize your movements to avoid detection.

 - Utilizing Fallen Corpses:

• One of the game’s core mechanics is the use of dead enemy bodies. When an enemy is killed, their corpse can be used as a disguise.
• Hold the Right Mouse Button to pick up and carry a corpse. As long as you hold the correct-colored corpse, you can pass through enemy lines without being detected.
• Be mindful: enemies will shoot on sight anything that moves and isn’t their own color. Choosing the wrong corpse will lead to instant death.

 - Combat:

• While stealth is your main weapon, you can also fight back using firearms. Click the Left Mouse Button to shoot enemies when necessary. However, firing a shot may attract more attention, so use your bullets wisely.

 - Interacting with the Environment:

• As you explore the facility, you will need to use elevators to move between levels. Press E to interact with elevators and continue your descent deeper into the base.

 - Strategy and Disguise:

• The key to progressing in Third Party is knowing when to shoot and when to sneak. Using corpses as disguises helps you avoid combat while shooting enemies clears a path but makes you vulnerable to detection.
• You’ll need to pay attention to enemy patrols and patterns. Being patient and using the environment to your advantage is essential to surviving and completing your mission.

Third Party offers a thrilling mix of stealth, strategy, and dark humor.
