About Size It Up?

In Size It Up, your eyes do most of the work. You get a black silhouette as a reference and must resize a white shape to match it as closely as possible. Sounds easy? Not always. An object can look almost right at first glance, yet a small difference in width or height can throw off your estimate.

How to Play

• Look at the black silhouette and compare it with the white one.
• Resize the white shape until the two appear similar in scale.
• Submit your answer and see how close your judgment was.

Tips & Strategy

• Compare height and width separately. A shape may have the right height but still be too wide.
• Watch the corners. Odd angles and uneven edges can make a silhouette look bigger than it is.
• Make small adjustments. Big changes are tempting, but they can send your estimate in the wrong direction.
• Step back and look again. Staring at the same shape for too long can make size differences harder to notice.
