Challenging Night Bartender Experience
Closing at 2 is a simulation game with a bit of mystery, putting you in the role of a bartender working the night shift at the Lakeside Inn. At first, everything flows normally: customers enter, they order drinks, and you mix them. But as the night deepens, the customers become odd, and so do their requests, ranging from intimidating to silly and downright bizarre.
You need to keep steady, mixing exactly the drinks the customers ask for, all while feeling the pressure of time ticking towards closing time at 2 a.m.
The Gameplay in the Stressful Night
In this game, gameplay consists mostly of cocktail mixing and time management. Each night, you will meet a series of customers with different personalities, along with orders ranging from easy to "difficult".
Main gameplay:
- Conversation interaction: Use the Space key to scroll through the dialogue, listen to the sometimes “strange” requests from customers.
- Drag and drop ingredients: Choose the correct ingredients from the bar and drop them into the shaker according to the customer's request.
- Shake It and Serve: Hold the space bar to shake and finish the cocktail before serving it to the customer.
- Time Management: By 2 a.m., the orders become increasingly difficult to serve, so the waiting times for customers grow longer.
Every Choice Matters: If done perfectly, the customer walks out happy and tips; otherwise, one cannot foresee what will happen.
Environment & Design- Something Both Relaxing and Dramatic
From quite a different perspective, we should mention:
- The Bar Area: Soft lighting, smooth jazz music, warm feeling.
- Character Designing: Customers come in quirky shapes with witty dialogues that will keep them smirking every other moment."
- Dynamic Sound: The sounds of the shaker and glasses clash together with the background music, which drastically changes as time passes—from slow to fast near 2 AM.
- The game is a blend of relaxation with tension building up as time runs tight.
