Cheat or Repeat is a short indie horror stealth game where you play as a desperate student trying to cheat during exams using your phone—without getting caught. It’s fast, tense, and surprisingly stressful for such a simple setup. Unlike many typical school simulation or horror games, this one focuses entirely on micro-decisions under pressure, not exploration or story depth.
Goal: Answer 10 questions in 10 minutes by secretly using your phone
Controls:
Core loop: Cheat → Answer → Watch teacher → Repeat (without getting caught)
1. Don’t spam the phone – use micro-checks
From experience, holding the phone too long is the fastest way to lose. Instead, peek for 1–2 seconds, then immediately go back. Think rhythm, not rush.
2. Watch teacher patterns, not just position
Teachers don’t move randomly. After a few runs, you’ll notice predictable patrol loops. Memorizing this is more valuable than fast typing.
3. Pre-position your mouse before cheating
Before pressing Space, already angle your camera toward the teacher’s last-known position. This saves critical milliseconds when you need to cancel quickly.
4. Don’t fully trust the “safe moment”
Sometimes the teacher suddenly changes direction. Even when it feels safe, keep your phone usage short. Overconfidence = instant fail.
5. Accept 1–2 wrong answers strategically
Trying to be perfect increases risk. It’s often smarter to guess quickly instead of over-cheating and getting caught.
After playing multiple runs, the biggest surprise is how mentally exhausting the game becomes. It’s not hard mechanically—but the pressure builds fast.
If you focus on timing over speed, you’ll survive longer than most players. This isn’t a typing game—it’s a discipline game disguised as cheating. Want to win? Stay calm, stay brief, and never get greedy.
